Can I carry on as camera, books, maps and film of rolls with my briefcase? Do they allow to carry on to the plane with my camera 35mm? It makes me nervous!! I don't want my camera to the luggage what if they lost or stolen my camera worth $500.00! It's ridiculous! Please let me know before Saturday my flights.

It might be helpful if you told us which airline.

I'm heading out of O'Hare in Chicago this Saturday. I'm flying on Delta.

Thanks again,

Yes, Delta still allows carry-ons, as virtually every other major airline with some bit of common sense left.

I know there is only one airline that doesn't allow carry on's and that one is PanAm. I don't know why they did that though. I'm glad that other airlines didn't do that and I hope that they never do it and I hope that they allow evereyone to the gates cause it's hurting avaion peoole like me and vendors too.
