Just enquiring does anyone know the fate of this ex QF B744?

It's been with Maxair for 2 years now and there isn't one photo I can find on the db or net of this aircraft since it was painted at VCV and ferried to Nigeria.

Various sources list it as doing Hadj flights other sources list it as derelict in Kano, Nigeria.

The former VH-OJK is of interest as it's the only QF B744 to find itself a new home to date.

Atdb.org shows it as still being active with Maxair

Just a small correction. The registration is 5N-HMB.

This aircraft is still in operation (from time to time also in ACARS covered areas): http://www.libhomeradar.org/databasequery/results.php?reg=5N-HMB

Strange that no spotter has photographed it unless it only flies to airports that have no spotters. Nice but simple livery.

Seems so. I doubt that on Nigeria - Saudi Arabia flights many spotters are around. I find it strange that Max Air doesnt try to fly elsewhere.
