Looking forward to seeing this new scheme. It's not known yet whether or not the current 738 will be repainted to white, like the fate of Wunala 2, VH-OEJ. And even though it's only a 738, let's hope they continue this trend to one day be on an A380!

It's all about the destination AND the journey.

As I said in the AusAv thread, I couldn't be more excited to see what they come up with.

Good on them to keep this tradition going

Wasn't there a rumour there was going to be an A330 painted in a Dreamtime livery?

Hopefully this time we'll see the newly painted a/c in Melbourne!

As I said in AusAv, after the fate of Wunala I'm not sure that she's long for this world

Sad to say, VH-VXB is destined to wear the revised QF scheme

I saw VXB the other day, and she is looking a tired now, the colours are fading away, so understandable if she does go to the traditional/ revised QF scheme

I think it is more appropriate to paint up a mainly domestic aircraft. The Aboriginal image is no longer what it was internationally and I think QF should be moving away from this tourism based icon and focus more on the premium, sharp and sophisitcated image that its pricing reflects. Also, because most Australians dont really connect with it, I believe it is a bit of a disingenous image to put out there. Better put it on a domestic bird that people will see and maybe it might start some domestic thought about Aborigines rather than just use it as an international tourist drawcard. Maybe do up another couple of frames too!

It will be great to see another dream time colour scheme on a QF jet. I would love to see Qantas paint a 738 or a A330 in the old retro scheme the one with the silver underbelly and the apricot cheet line I reacon that would be cool to see.
