Maybe this has been posted before, I'm not quite sure.
Anyhoo.. check out this photo. At a quick glance, doesn't it seem that the DL 764 has 737-800 winglets, as opposed to it's own type? I think the fact the this plane is new livery, and the plane behind it has old livery, so the tail fools you for a sec...

Very tricky, even though the tail behind is in old colour the picture almost fools you to believe that the aircraft has an MD-11 style winglet. And the second tail further back makes it more believable at first glance.

It actually looks kinda cool, because of the combination of the real winglets and the illusionary ones. It's like the wing dips a bit before curving up. Also gives the impression of a nice HUGE wing - wouldn't that be cool? (It would remind me of an A333!  Big thumbs up)

If anybody would like to know how it would have been like to see a B767(-400) with winglets, here you go...

The thumbnail did have me wondering for a minute. The bad part is that some yahoo will, down the line, use this picture as "proof" that Boeing put this style of winglets on the 767-400.

Damn, this website is getting worse daily.
