The new AA timetable is out, and from the looks of it, Miami is uneffected! While flight frequencies will be reduced on many flights through December (MIA-LAX from 35x to 28x; MIA-EZE from 14x to 10x), by 15 December, all that will be gone are the 5x weekly MIA-GIG service (daily remains), one MIA-DFW flight, and two MIA-ORD flights. Plus, MIA-RDU will get one extra frequency and MIA-DTW will get two extras, leaving MIA virtually, surprisingly, uneffected schedule-wise (thought the seasonal second daily MIA-SCL flight will not run this year). MIA-SJC was suspened, but resumes on 2 December. All this information comes from AA's downloadable timetable (not the Acrobat one), and it is comfirmed on AA's online reservation system. Of course, everything is subject to change and I still see it odd that Miami is loosing only five weekly flights to Rio.
