This Belongs In The 'Great Shots' Selection.
What do you folks think? I think this photo by Don Boyd has an awesome contrast of colors. It also highlights the beauty of American Airlines livery and the gracefulness of the Boeing 727.

I strongly recommend this photo to be added to the 'Best Shots Selection database.

Great picture but the wings are not all there and it is pretty blurry.

It looks pretty sharp to me. Not all best shots have the entire plane in it.

Yes, it is a bit blurry, but the wings not being all their doesn't matter, in fact most of the time having the Fuselage fill the frame is alot better.

I don't think its really up to Great Shots standard, but still very nice  Smile

personally i think this should be in there, its such a great picture:

This photo captures the great simplicity of the 727. Check out the smooth curves from the fuselage to the #2 engine. It looks great. This definately needs to be in the Great Shots Database.

IMHO - the AA picture is far nicer than the Kalitta picture...if for no other reason than the AA picture has the aircraft in it's element...the sky. The overcast background lends a very unique aura to the photo.

I agree, this picture has very much atmosphere.

You like planes that have a line along their body, Superfly, don´t you ?

The a/c is too blurry I think, although I like the background.
