Not sure why it will fly before RC641, perhaps it will be painted in PDX.

According Matt Cawby's KPAE blog the first produced 747-83QF aircraft (L/N1493, RC641, N973BA, 4K-SW881) appears to be being prepared for storage,
See : http://paineairport.com/kpae10173.htm

However according the FAA registry the same aircraft has already been exported to the Azerbaijan registry at February 18 2014.

It has not been Boeing's practice to store customer 747-8Fs that have deferred delivery for extended periods of time at PAE, has it? I thought they were being flown to VCV and other "warmer, drier" climes.

Latest info :

L/N1496 - RC642 is scheduled to be flown to storage at KMZJ this month. A B1 flight has already been completed, because this a requirement before a ferry flight.

L/N1493 - RC641 is scheduled for (short term ?) storage at KPAE.

Boeing did store a few freighters at PAE for several months last year.
