Swissair has announced its flight-schedule which will last (all flights are granted) until its end on October 28. From that date on Crossair will take over 75% of the bankrupt Swiss flag carrier.

Important route cuts include among otherts:

Zurich - San Francisco
all dailys Geneva - Paris
2 dailys Zurich - New York City
Zurich - Dallas (codeshare with AA suspended)

Luckily Crossair has already taken over lots of Europe flights and has granted most destinations and frequencies.

Sad news. gibberish

Please. SwissAir has not set a "final date". The future of Swissair is still very much in the air. They might continue, they might not, though the "new" Swissair will be radically smaller. We should know in one or two weeks what the REAL future of Swissair is.
