These days a lot of airplanes are taken out of service, being parked in the dry deserts of Arizona.
I would like to know if all 747 Classics of BA are already there, if LH has flown in some aircraft, Continental its DC-10s.
Were are the two 744s recently sold back to Boeing by Air China?
Is some airline parking a 777?

"Moneyline" with Lou Dobbs featured the sight (or one like it) last night on CNN as an example of how airlines were now cutting overhead.....sad pictures.
In fact one of the shots featured a bright red Metrojet 737-200 coming into land....probably for the last time :-(

Marana and Pinal are the same place. There's not too much going on there at the moment (it was already pretty full anyway) except that I know the Air China 744 went there, along with an Egyptair 767. The Cactus Wings website is good for listing what's at Marana.
Most of the recent retirements are going to Mojave in California (which must be heaving with stuff now), and others going to Roswell, Goodyear and a few into Victorville.
The BA classics are being parked at Manchester and Cardiff in the UK. The older -100s which have been parked for some time are at Roswell

A little bird tells me VS 742 G-VIBE ("Dancing Queen") will be ferried to Mojave on 23rd October. One of 5 VS 747's being put into storage or disposed of (G-VRUM and G-VCAT back to Cathay Pacific).

AndyEastMids is correct, MZJ has not received any more than usual in the past month. Of course not much has left either. Evergreen laid off over half their staff a couple of weeks ago. Down the road at Hamilton Aviation, it appears that they have also cut back severely. I had to stop by there last night and there was no work going on. And that was at 1800 hrs. Been a long time since I've seen that. I was told that there are only two 727(F)s scheduled to depart this month, with one 734 going somewhere. Nobody I talked to knew where though.
What is it with all the "is there a possibilty airline X will.." threads? The answer it'll is possible.
