Kuwait Airways Discontinues Flights To Pakistan

According to the Kuwait Airways website they will discontinue service to Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore in Pakistan until Oct. 28th.

Which reason? I think that is only for the security of the flight.

They didn't state the reasons of why they would discontinue flights into Pakistan but I pressume its because of whats going on right now .

KU suspended service to Islamabad last week, so I guess this was expected, also the CAA in Pakistan are now tracking the airspace on an hourly basis, and the Pakistani Govt. has allowed the U.S use of two aiports in the towns of Jacobabad in Sindh province and Pasni in Balochistan province, so theres bound to be more risks involved Sad

Yes i would think so too that KU is leaving just for safety reasons.....God forbid if ever a Gulf carrier were to quit KHI for good then that would be its darkest hour......Oman quit some time back but i dont expect any other airline from the Gulf to do that.
