Hi:
The Egyptian flag carrier called Egypt Air has taken delivery a new 777-200ER on October 4. Egypt Air has taken delivery of four 777-200ERs, and has one additional Boeing 777-200ER on order.

TEDSKI:
I think that Egypt Air will have two models for longhaul routes: the Boeing 777-200ER for high density routes and the A340-200 for medium and low density of passengers. The new Boeing 777-200Ers are for replace the older 747-300.

Hi:
Any details about the Egypt Air orders for new airbuses? I think that Egypt Air has ordered A330 but I don't know if they has ordered new A320. And which type of A330 has ordered?

RJ_Delta,
In its inflight magazine, Horus, EgyptAir's chariman states that the fleet "will be joined by new aircraft such as the A330 and A318".
hope that helped!
BTW, i've been on MS's A340 and 777, and the 777 is definitely the winner by miles, in terms of configuration, leg space, and even seat width!
