Most airlines go 2-2-2 for domestic First Class on 767s. This is quite a bit tighter than the DC 10s they are replacing.
I haven't flown HA myself, but I hear their First Class service is really good.

I think Hawaiian's 767s in the new livery are very beautiful, but I would have LOVED to see a 763 in the old (DC-10) livery! Too bad it won't happen. ;(
The only thing that HA's new livery needs is painted engines...too much white.

I'd like to see a photo of the 763 on a good clear sunny day in San Diego. I'd been waiting a long time for a photo of a Hawaiian DC-10 in San Diego and one was added to the database this morning.

LOL, heck I'd like to see it in flight sim! I can't wait till FS2002 comes out. By then somebody will have created an FS2002 Boeing 763 of Hawaiian Airlines. That'll be a beauty. But, for now I guess I'm sticking with that old Aloha 737-200.

GuyBetsy1,
Hawaiian has won several awards for their First Class service. So it sounds like it's better than most other US airlines.
HNL-SAN on December 1, huh? Last I checked, that was the first day Hawaiian has scheduled the 767-300ER for revenue service, on the San Diego route.

David: I'm not totally positively sure yet, but most sources I check say that the first date of SAN-HNL-SAN 767-300 flights has been moved up to November 15th.

Trvlr,
Thanks for the update. I checked in Sabre back in early September while I was still doing my internship at Hawaiian Air catering.
Just checked in Travelocity and you're right. Looks like the first 763 flight will be HA32 HNL-SAN on November 15, and HA31 SAN-HNL will switch over with the return the following morning.
This actually makes more sense, since Sabre showed that HA31/32 would be DC-10s on November 30, switching to 767 for both flights on December 1. So a 767 would have had to be ferried to SAN, then a DC-10 ferried out.
