Nice, but did they catch the person who threw the red paint at the tail of the plane? Does the splat represent something? Switzerland's crushed reputation, perhaps?

... they are no new c/s, just an adaption of the Crossair colours on Swissair planes.

Crossair can cange the tail scheme if they want to. They should keep the Swissair brand at least on their long-haul craft. World recognition and all that. No?

I am not surprised if that will be the site in the new year or 2. Swissair is left with 3 options and looks like Crossair will take over their whole intl network.......

The red on the tail looks like an Oriental language.

I have to say that the Crossair livery transfers well to the larger aircraft. Hopefully we will be able to see this in the coming future!  Smile

Yes--SWISSAIR in the Crossair characters would be a cool update.

The colors look nice.
But maybe you won't be able to see SR/LX overseas anymore soon.
Since they were planning to take over only about 10 SR planes ...

Love the A330, great job Mario. Hope to see them on real aircraft. Swissair in Crossair font would be really cool.

Amazing! I just can't imagine the name Crossair on an A330 or even MD-11!!! For me Crossair is still the biggest regional airline worldwide operating Saabs and Embraers; OK for the 321 but I think another airline (Swissair) should still operate the longhaul planes...with the Blue belly!!!!  Smile

The problem is that the old SWR has so many debts that I really fear now that the name SWISSAIR will have to dissapear for fear of lawsuits worldwide for non-paid bills!!!  Sad

Maybe the could do as for Balair -> Belair
so maybe Swissair -> Smissair (nobody would notice Big grin )

Concerning the red CRX patch, some employees at BSL say it symbolizes M.S., the initials of Moritz Sutter, the founder of CRX in 1972!!!! (scoop!)

Looks great, but I wish it said "Swissair" instead of "Crossair". When I think of Crossair, I think of ERJ's and such. When I think of Swissair, I think of 747s and A330's.
All in all, it really does translate well onto the larger aircraft. If it is really like that, it will be one of the few new schemes that I really like.
