This was taken from a hot air balloon. As you can see, the hot air balloon was over the approach path into Traverse City Cherry Capital Airport. It was taken in 2000 I believe.

Good photo?????

 Big thumbs up

It would be a lot better if the resolution were improved. It's so grainy it would be really easy to fake. Not an accusation, but that's why I don't say it is "great". But it is a nice photo, must have been a fun ride. Big thumbs up Smile/happy/getting dizzy

What?!?!?! A Fokker 100? The hell is no! NWA doesn't have any F-100 or TVC doesn't serve any of airline F-100. It's DC-9-10. It looks smaller jet. Look at again closer the photo: Does F-100's wing have any fairings?

Big777jet

PS - it's not CRJ the engine is much smaller.

The lighting reflection angle on the plane looks inconsistent with the rest of the picture.

If it is real.... it looks like a CRJ b/c it has winglets... but the engines dont look like the high bypass ones, so it also looks like a DC-9.

Chicks dig winglets.

This is Concorde, no doubt about it.

Did an eight year old take the plane icon and stick it in there?  Laugh out loud

Seriously, it looks like a nice view, but how can that be real?

shouldn't the side of the plane that is facing us be at least partially in shadow, given the apparent angle of the sun???

But is it really possible for a balloon to fly into the airport restricted airspace?
And look at those trees...I have never seen an airport with those kind of trees, not the equal size......
It just doesn't look right to me.

1) the lighting on the airplane is different than that on the ground (no shadows).
2) what's the golf course that the aircraft is flying over?

35 Boeing757fan : The aircraft was landing, and, TVC isnt exactly O Hare. Hot Air Balloons can fly over. Its a different air space than you probably have.
