Has anyone ever flown on USAirways new Airbus 319 yet? Or do you know anyone who has? If so, what routes? Also, how was the service?

My mother flew to N.Y. but for some reason was not booked on the many direct flights from tampa to LGA on 737's..instead she flew into Charlotte first on the new A319. All she noticed was that the engines were huge compared to the 737.

Pretty funny that she flew on a "Classic" 737 and a brand new A319 and only noticed the engine difference. Seems like the 737-400 can hold up to the young A319.

US Airways does not fly the new 319s into Pittsburgh yet. These craft are based in their Philadelphia hub and are maintained in either Tampa or Charlotte.

I fly PHL to/from TPA weekly and have found the A319s to be enjoyable. I always liked the 737-300s and 400s, but the extra quite A319 cabin and wider isle make a big difference. I also like the flat video screens that open up above the seats to show the safety videos and movies - very high tech.

I've been flying on UA A320s for several years now and had the same opinions there. The 757/767 still are my favorite planes, but A320s/319s are a close second.
