I believe they also had a 762 painted in hour of sprinter Donavan Bailey. I am not sure if it has been repainted or not yet.

the raptors a/c is no more just had it in the hanger last week ( a/c 206 ) it has been painted in the generic air can colors white with green tail and red leaf.

Why would they repaint the raptors??? It was such a nice looking aircraft. It was recognized everywhere and kids loved to see it. I myself had not seen it, now I guess I never will.
Does Canadian have any plans to paint an aircraft special??

it seems the paint job was starting to get rather worn and I don't think we sponser the raptors anymore actually at one time we had two a/c painted in team colors one was the rapters the other was the grizzlies anyway its the 319 a/c 256 thats painted the old tca silver paint scheme to commerate our 60th ann. anyway I wouldn't count on canadien painting anything it looks more and more like we'll own them in the near future and it better be near with their feeder inter-canadien shutting down last week due to lack of money and passengers something has to happen soon.

Yes, the Raptor plane is no more. It was repainted in AC's colors. I worked this plane last night at YYT. I liked the Raptor colors on the plane, but I guess it needed to be changed back. I think AC does still sponser the Raptors, but we just don't fly them around any more, especially after they nearly destoyed the interior of that A320 fin# 206. To Aca320, Air Canada never operated an a/c in Vancouver Grizzlies colors. Also, the TCA A319 60th anniversary plane is fin# 264, Reg C-FZUH, not fin# 256.

Right now, Air Canada only has two special color schemes left - the Star Alliance Airbus 340 (registered C-FYLD, tail #904)), and the Trans Canada Airbus 319. Air Canada has re-painted the Donovan Bailey 767, and have also re-painted the Sick Kids A320, which I believe only lasted about half a year, and also their Canadair which was painted in the "Go Canada Go" colors, which only lasted during the 1996 Summer Olympics. It's a shame to see the Raptors c/s disappear, since it was one of the nicer special color schemes. As for Canadian painting any aircraft, I think they are more worried about their other problems than painting aircraft right now. Although I would like to see them come up with some different designs, if they get help financially.
