I had 2 questions:
1) What is the average cost of an airliner? I understand there are obvious variations between a Fokker 100 and a 744 so could you give me figures for differents types of aircrafts such as average cost of a narrow-body and wide-body aircraft or even particular models?
2) what is the crusing and max speeds of common airliners?

I think that would be a cheap Airbus cricri. It depends on the aircraft of course. I know that about two years ago the B747-400 were about $130 million each!!!
B757's were about $55-$60 million ,and B737's were from about $35 million each. This of course is jst for the basic models, when airlines add all their extras, the cost does go up.
So thats why arlines don't buy one everyday of the year. It's a big investment.

According to the Boeing Price List, prices for new Boeing aircraft range from $31.5 million for a 717-200 to as high as $197.0 million for a 747-400 Combi. Their most expensive standard body is the $81 million 757-300, while the 767-200 goes for as "little" as $89 million.
