I just orderd FS98 on the net and I will be getting it tommarow also I got the inside moves book.

I was just wondering what is so different about 98 then the 95 version. I want to know before I get the program. How many more airports are there? Are the airports more accurate and what Asian airports are there because 95 only has the Tokyo area.

What else could you all tell me. Thank ya!

Hey United!
FS98 is a BIG BIGimprovement over FS95.
Fs98 has over 3000 airports(over 10 times 95)
New aircraft, and quite a bit more in Asia.
You can find almost ANY charted airport..I even found a small grass strip near where I live on the game....that really suprised me!

FS98 has a ton of detailed airports (include taxi ways) in Japan and Kai Tak in Hong Kong. But all the other airports in Asia in FS98 lack taxi ways, they just have runways and that's it.

Hey bro...you know what..I believe they have both! Chep lo.....you know..well they built it like it was not under construction....and as for Kai Tak...there are a few more buildings in the IGS flight path and the turn to 13...there are also more buildings in downtown HK.
If you haven't already..try this site out for great HONG KONG SCENERY!

FS2000 will be out in a year or so, so hopefully that will fix all of the problems and gripes with FS98. FS98 really lacks in scenery, and just about everything it has as default. Good news is there are TONS of free panels, sounds, planes, flight models, scenery, and adventures out there to download!!!! As CapK mentioned, Flightsim.com is the place to go for everything. It takes about a year to truly master something like FS98 in the way it works, and discovering all of the free stuff for it. Flightsim.com has a daily uploaded file database, so when "today's" files are available, it's like Christmas sometimes! Have fun, and don't hesitate to ask questions in the Fs98 forum in Flightsim.com .
