Swissair's pilots said they will not agree to work at the same conditions than Crossair's pilots (LX wages 30% lower than SR). They probably think they are UNIQUE like their airport in Zurich which is called Unique Airport.

A such behavior is totally indecent. Hey guys !!! Wake up.... You will fly with the money of Swiss people and you should be happy to be able to continue to fly because no other private firms would want to hire a 40 or 50 years old pilot.

Switzerland will probably need to learn to be modest if it want to succeed in something....

Bill

Please do differentiate between Swiss people and Swissair pilots.

There is no way the SR pilots will get thru with this. There is an excess number of pilots available. Either accept the conditions or get layed off. Easy as that.

Very few, if any, LX pilots are actually Swiss citizens...most are from Eastern European countries (mainly ex-Air Force guys).

I agree that SR pilots will have to "take it or leave it"...but LX pay/conditions stink for the amount of work they do.
