Delta will change equipments from 767-300 to 777 CVG to Paris, France (CDG) in December 1st. CVG-LGW is add frequency 4 times a week using MD-11. I read the Official Airline Guide book today for December 2001.

That's good news for me! If our trip to Jamaica over Christmas gets cancelled because of overbooked flights ATL-MBJ, we may go to London, and now I'll be on an MD-11 instead of a 767! I like the 767-300, but I'd rather go on a bigger jet to Europe.
If the Jamaica deal works out, it'll be Air Jamaica on a DL codeshare out of Atlanta.

Do you think that the 777 upgrade might be in response to a possible gain in traffic since US Airways dropped their 767 PIT-CDG flights?? Now there might be more connecting pax to fill up that CVG-CDG flight. What do you think?
