I was wondering whether the 762s are equipped with the same Business Class seats as the B763s.
Secondly, are there any seats in the J cabin which you would recommend? I'm also interested in any good Y class seats on the 762 & 733.
If there's anything else spectacular to mention about trans-Tasman J class or domestic NZ services, please mention it. Basically I'm interested in Trans-Tasman & Domestic J & Y services.

I have flown with NZ 763s from HNL to AKL, LAX to PPT, PPT to AKL, AKL to NAN, and with the 762 from BNE to AKL........up front, NZ was great, wonderful service and crews on all flights. The Business Class seats are very good, and the same seats are in the 762 as in the 763 (at least the aircraft I was on), the 762 does have a slightly more old-fashioned look because of the wall panels. Very comfortable, but note that the business class seats in the NZ 767s are narrower than the equivalent seats on the 744s; not complaining, but you do notice a difference. NZ has 2-2-2 business class seating on their 767s, while some other airlines (ie, CO, US, QF long-haul) have 2-1-2 or 2-2-1 seating up front.
Cant help you with info on coach, have heard nothing except try for the emegency or bulkhead seats, duh, I am sure that it not new to you. Enjoy!

I believe one or two 762's have older business class seating. NBA is one. Don't know the other. From memory though NBJ has the same seating as the 763's all the way down the aircraft.
