Here is a situation I am facing, and if anyone has any suggestions, that would be great.
I am a minister at a church in the Orlando area, and next summer we will be taking about 50 high school students (11th and 12th graders, plus some adults) on a mission trip to the Bahamas (the island of Eleuthera.)
Comair and American Eagle fly turbo-props form MCO to the Bahamas, and Bahamasair flies a 732 (but not to the island we will be going to.) Thus, I am looking into chartering a plane.
We could fill up a CRJ. What would something like that cost? Because of the large swize of our group, and the small size of the planes that fly such routes, we need an alternative. Any ideas?

You will be looking at at least $6000.00 per hour not including landing and ground handling fees. Probably will have to get a 737 or a DC-9 to do the trip best guess would be about 24 to 30 thousand dollars.
