I am flying to Miami soon from the U.K. and I was just wondering, which airlines/planes would you select to fly on for this trip? Smile/happy/getting dizzy

P.S. What is the situation with Swiss air cause they would be one of my choices!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Hello

You shouldn't have a problem with Swissair. They have enough money to fly at least a couple of months and Miami is one of the destinations they will keep.

Hope this helps,

Take Virgin- a direct flight. They need your business and they're a great way to get to MIA.

Oooh well, I'm a Virgin Atlantic Fan myself, so what can I say? Choose the original innovator. Their entertainment is still top-notch, even though others have caught up. Their food is quite good out of the UK. Their service can be great. And you can be 100% sure to have a PTV and a great, wide selection of uncensored movies and music. On BA, the selection might be smaller, and the movies might be censored to permit kids to watch them (I am not sure about that). Plus, if you're unlucky and they use an older a/c, you might not have a PTV at all....

Regards

Ikarus

thanks people! Smile/happy/getting dizzy Sounds like Virgin is pretty popular, but I have a little grudge against Virgin. I applied for a job as a steward, passed all their tests etc and then failed at the final hurdle!  Pissed But yes I have never heard a bad word said against them, great planes great service!Thats why I wanted to work for them!!!!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

TWA comes up the cheapest.(Why does that not supprise me?!)  Big grin
I plan to pay a little more and go for Delta/Air France on either MD-11(for the first time) 747-400(for the first time) or A340-300 (guess what? For the first time!)
Virgin/BA are considerably more expensive! US Airways are also good value.

Take Swissair, they try all things to get the confidence of their passengers again. Service is great and the aircraft is probably an MD11.

Swissair all the way man!

Their service is even better than normal because everybody is trying harder and believe me - their service has improved a lot since the grounding. Go A320 to ZRH and then MD11 to MIA. They will keep flying to Miami. All flights are guaranteed until 03-28-02 - that's when Crossair takes over.

Have a nice flight.

I fancy flying Swissair, I have heard nothing but good comments about them from friends and family + its on an MD-11! Im just worried about flights being cancelled and losing my money! I could fly Delta but it seems that their leg-room is not up to scratch (I am 6ft+)  Smile/happy/getting dizzy I was about ready to book with Delta but now I am reconsidering. Smokin cool

Captain.MD-11: If you choose Swissair you will fly A-320 to Zurich. I think SR has leather seats even in economy on their A-320s!

Enjoy your flight,

Delta is always a sound choice. Also, are you considering going into FLL, as that might be a little cheaper.
