Croatian goverment, majority owner of Croatia Airlines, has approved the request of delaying of purchase six additional A320 family aircrafts due to terrorist attacks. first plane was scheduled for delivery in May 2003. and the new date has not been released. It was also announced it will lease unspecified number of aircraft to meet higher demands in the touristic season. I hope to see a new type in CTN colors, maybe a 737NG or MD-90

Croatia airlines is a fabulous airlines with great colors. I fly them a lot, and they have great service. Anyway, the airlines colors would look wonderful on any plane. I can't wait for the A320's, and seeing 737NGs at ZAG would be fabulous, to replace the existing 737200. A few hour ago, I was sitting at the house, and watching the planes land, and Croatia Airlines makes me take pride in my country.

Continental, Croatia Airlines already has the A320's and they also have the A319's, these planes replaced the B737-200, I think the last B737-200 that left the fleet was in 2000. I will be going back to Croatia next summer and I hope to see some new planes at Zagreb.

It was said that they will "operationally lease" acft
What does that exactly mean?
Wet-lease as BAe146 from Flightline?
