I was wondering how the competition to replace SAA's 747-200s was coming along? Has any aircraft been selected yet? Also, will the process be lengthened due to the events of Sept 11th and its economic repercussions?

SAA has already in the past placed an order, or a LOI for 777s. I don't think we should expect an announcement anytime soon though. SAA could possibly just retire the 742s without a replacement.
