BBC is reporting that one of Canada 3000's aircraft has being held at MAN by the airport authority after landing on a flight from YYZ. Evidently, C3 has not paid its landing fees to MAN, and after the airline stopped trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange, airport police moved to seize the aircraft (which, under British law they are allowed to do).
Does anybody know which aircraft or what type it is?

C3 started out as Air 2000 Canada with the UK carrier having 25% equity. The Cdn Govt disallowed this and the equity was sold to Canadian interests. C3 and Air 2000 UK maintained a 752 sharing operation and a similar colour scheme for a couple of years.
Panam, TWA, Ansett, Eastern.......AC next? Might be good for Canada.

I suppose if you are the ATC, or fuel company or whatever, you would not let the aircraft leave until your company had personal assurances that you would be paid, regardless of what some foreign Canadian judge has just ruled.
