Best Airline To St. Maarten

As you all know, St. Maarten is probably the best place to take pictures of airliners. If I wanted to go there from BDL, what would be the cheapest way to get there? Also, what would be the cheapest time of year to go?

I don't have any prices to quote, but you're best bet on going to SXM is on AA.
You could go BDL-SJU-SXM (the short hop on the 757 from SJU-SXM would be kinda cool)
or BDL-MIA-SXM
