Thanks

Qantas are not ordering any more B717-200s.
They 'inherited' these aircraft through the deal with Impulse Airlines in May 2001.
Qantas have ordered 15 x B737-800s, the first to be delivered early 2002.

I have heard that QF is very pleased with the 717 and will probably place a big order for the aircraft as soon as the 717's future is certain.

Qantas has ordered the 15 x B737-800s, with an option on 60 other B737s of different variants, for the domestic routes.
The only aircraft on order for the QantasLink brand are 2 x Dash 8 turboprop commuters ( for Eastern Australia ).
B717s are not on the order books.

Regards.

Qantaslink is a brand name for the Qantas regionals (Eastern, Southern, Sunstate, Airlink and Impulse). Impulse Airlines operate the B717 under the Qantaslink name.
Impulse have 8 aircraft in service. Impulse's total order was for 20 aircraft, so we may still see more B717's Downunder.
