Airline Clubs Closing?

Is it true that the airline clubs in the airports will be closing? I love those places considering I need time to kill and how early we have to be for flights now. I love United's Rec Carpet Club and the US Airways Club in aiports throughout the country are my 2 favorite ones. I guess these airline companies don't have enough money to keep these luxurious clubs open.
