Just completed a short duration trip to the US with American - and was wondering if their advertising about the extra room in Coach meant a genuine improvement.

Glad to say it does - I flew B763`s MANORDMAN and M80`s ORDMSYORD - the coach legroom really is noticeable when compared to BA or DL.

Also nice to report that out of 4 flights, 3 of them were over 90% full, but the f/a`s weren`t too happy that they have had their numbers cut by one crew member ! The inflight service on the US internals has now been reduced to drinks only - good opportunity to visit the deli counters at the airport first !!

I hope AA come through this bad time, their staff are trying so hard to make things work.

Incidently, I was in ORD on the day the guy was found with his arsenal of weapons before boarding the UA flight .... but didn`t notice much increase in security in Terminal 3.... !
