I am sure quiet a few of you guys have flown this airline. Then share your experience and thoughts about it.I fly it frequently on CPH-SVO-CPH route with B737.
I like it because it has really changed over the last few
years. Now they have a modern fleet and good service.

I haven't flown them YET!
I really want to fly on there IL-96, 86, TU-154 and TU134.
I've flown the IL-62 on Cubana and I loved it!
I really like Russian/Soviet aircraft and I wish they would hang on to there aircraft.
I am not to crazy about there use of western a/c because everyone flies western a/c.

Here in SFO, it is rare to see a Russian/Soviet plane here.

Why did Aeroflot piant the tails of there 767s and 777s different from the rest of there fleet?
I like there standard color scheme with the Russian flag.

Never flown Aeroflot before, hoping to fly it soon. However, about the livery, I personally prefer the old livery on their ILs and TUs. Just plain white and the Russian flag. Don't quite like the new livery on their Boeings.

It is only the 737 and 777 that have a new livery.
Because they were delivered to Aeroflot the latest-3 years ago and operate a major part of the schedule.

Some 15 years ago their domestic service was not worse than that of AA now. Last year I flew with them twice, in First (Tu154M, intra-CIS) and Business (B737-400, international), and those flights were great.

Once I was at the local airport and saw that they had charter flights from SVO to TFS (Tenerife) stopping here - a couple of days later, I went to their offices in town and was very disappointed when I discovered that it is not possible to buy a seat on those flights!! I would have really loved to fly it on that route.

Regarding the livery, I dis/like neither.

BTW, SU used to be the second most frequent airline in MLA after KM (whose hub is MLA).

Flown Aeroflot plenty but was too young to give you guys an impression... Me and my family lived in Moscow from 1980-1984 and flew them to Frankfurt when Lufthansa was too full.

However my attitude to Aeroflot (and Russia) is positive and would fly with them anyday if I had to.

Well, I don't know about Aeroflot but once I had to fly TU-134 and NEVER again!!  Yeah sure

Russian (ex-soviet) planes can be interesting but they are definently not for regular travel (no offence).
