I'm probably going to fly to Paraguay in January.
I live in Frankfurt.
Which airline would you suggest??
I was thinking of Varig/Lufthansa or LanChile...

Regards

TAM. Daily nonstop A330 service to Sao Paulo with direct connection to Asuncion. It is known to provide very good service onboard. Also with Varig on the same route via GRU.

You have family in Paraguay??

No, I am from Argentina. Many germans living in Paraguay. Years ago LAP used to fly direct to Asuncion from Frankfurt with DC8. But today I guess TAM and Varig or LH and then Varig provide the most direct routing.

If you stick with Star Alliance, this one round trip will give you enough miles for a free flight within Europe.

Daniel, how come ? FRA-GRU-ASU-GRU-FRA gives me only 13514 miles in coach. Is there currently a special deal on the South America flights ??
