Only Singapore International Airlines (SIA) has the acumen to lure corporate Australia back to patronise Ansett Australia. Australia's leading airline and aviation analyst, Peter Harbison of the Centre of Asia Pacific Aviation, says the Singapore-based international airline has the management skills and credibility. It is the key to the ultimate success of Ansett Mark II, and the Lindsay Fox-Solomon Lew bid to resurrect the collapsed airline. SIA and the Star Alliance would be the obvious choices to provide vital feed traffic and restore passenger confidence.
