I cannot believe this post is withering on the vine!
Very few posts in 18+ hours !
Surprising....Because I found myself listening to this ATC Flight 93 clip more than once. It's one of THE most incredible ATC recordings I've ever heard! Very clear too! You can make out everything said....even most of the garbled broken English spoken by the murderers!!
I'd like hearing more responses from our A.Net faithful to this chilling and disturbing ATC clip.

The tapes on this site have been edited from what was originally posted there. The prior version contained what one can only assume was the screams of the pilots being killed.
I'm disgusted by what passes as news these days. ABC News Primetime really pissed me off when they played the ATC tapes of Flight 93 with the original sounds of the pilots being murdered. airdisaster.com, in my book is not much better. I am glad that they decided to edit the tapes, but still disgusted.
Imagine how you might feel if the death screams of your father or brother being murdered were played by the mass media. I think everyone here on this board should e-mail anyone we find playing the unedited tapes and tell them how truly revolting we think it is.

I listened to that clip finally yesterday. I have to say that my heart went out to everyone onboard that airplane again and again and again. It is amazing that this was released for the public to hear. I understand why they put this out although I may not always agree with it. God bless everyone who lost thier lives on that flight. I only hope that the terrorist see this action has not brought this country to it's knees but helped us come together as a nation.
I do not want to get on a soap box in here but I just wanted to say what was on my mind.
Keep looking up, that's the secret to life....Snoopy

Hmmm...The version that I downloaded from Airdisaster.com did contain the screams of the pilots. That's why it was so disturbing to me. Perhaps they edited it sometime after it was originally posted???

It's too bad the other pax on the planes didn't fight back. Even thought the 1st plane had no chance thinking that they were landing at JFK or EWR and probably the same case with the other plane. But the other plane that hit the Pentagon had a chance had the pax and crew reacted quicker. The pax we're dead the second it took off. Thank god there we're no more planes and thank god the casualties and missing from the WTC have been lowered from 6,000 plus to around 3500 due to dupicates (people being counted more than once and people who were originally listed as missing were alive and well.) NYC has already issued over 1,800 death certificates within 3 weeks. So i'm praying the toll will go down to around 2,000 or less as the city is still going through the duplicates. The WTC toll also includes the people from the 2 planes.
May Osama and the Taliban along with the sympathysers rot in hell!

I really hope that no one didn't get ofended that I made this topic. For me it is also very important to know what happend on the A/C. I think you all share that tought with me as "aviationlovers" we are.
So that's also why made this topic.
If anyone really don't like it. Please post! Then I will do a "Suggest deletion of the whole thread".

Didn't UA 93, sometime after the hijacking began, state to the ATC that it was changing its destination to KDCA, ie, Reagan National Airport? I didn't hear such a statement on the tape -- does anyone know more about this?
