I heard that Aeropostal has acquired some more DC-9-51 and some DC-9-21. Does anybody know how many and when they will be delivered? I think the 717 would be a good replacement for those old DC-9's. Some chances for the 717?

I don't think that Aeropostal will replace the DC-9's any time soon. They are planning to buy some second hand from SAS and Finnair(AY has already sold a number of DC-9's to aeropostal for delivery this and next year)

Where would they get DC-9-21's from? According to Bill Harms website there is only one flying -21 today belonging to Allegiant Air, and it's regeistered N127NK.
The other ones are out of sevice or scrapped for parts. The -21 was a limited series, don't know if anyone except SAS ordered it. It think it had the body from the -10, the wing from -30 and the engines of -40 or something like that and was used to serve the high short runways in northern Norway. The last one left SAS some time ago.

Hi, I am sure that it does snow a lot in America, but surely not in the American destination of Aeropostal
Can you imagine Aruba or Santo Domingo covered by the snow??? Not even Miami.
