The US-based Gulf Air was operating with B727s and has been renamed "Transocean Airlines" after the -real- Gulf Air from Bahrain complained about that name, and they even operated one (or more???) DC-8-63, N795AL, in full colours (blue/red/blue cheatline, blue tail with a red T) as pax aircraft across the north atlantic.
