According to united.com flt 962 left DEN for IAD only 4 min late. Do you have the right flt number?

I kept an eye out for it on the news but didn't hear anything.

I guess that's a good thing.

Ok this is all BS. I live in Denver, I hear everything that happens at KDEN. First of all, there is no D concourse. Second off all, B42 doesnt serve B777. This guy was pulling your leg big time. take it from a guy whos been to KDEN 100 times and knows people in United  Smile

Well I remember that happened to an America West 757 last year in PHX. Somehow the pushback driver missed the fact that the jetway was still connected when he started pushing back. Serious damage to the plane and needless to say, he was canned faster than tuna.

Oh yeah and then there was that time in PHX when they pushed a plane back into the terminal....Bad times.

From MUC's online timetable for Sunday, 2000.11.25:

UA 962 Washington -Denver 0755 0750 C 763 landed

It clearly reads Boeing 763 .... is this another direct flightnumber with aircraft change??

It seems to me that a few people here owe Saab340 an apology, oh yes that is if you who said he could not possibly be correct bothered to check his last comments. I did and it indeed says gate B42 and a 777, the date if you look is 11/22 not today 11/25. So is anybody going to say "I'm sorry", hmm? I doubt it.

Interesting

that gate was open at 615P when I was in Denver on the 22nd... just a few 747-400s parked around it. Maybe the damage wasn't that bad at all...

Well from reading the report, it seems the jetway damaged the aircraft door rather than the aircraft ripping off the jetway. JETWAY TORE DOOR
OFF ACFT
. So I would expect the jetway is still in use and the aircraft is the one needing repair.
