In early 80s', China Airlines bought 2 767s but they left CI's fleet in late 80s'. Where are these planes now?

They both went to Air New Zealand then to Air Canada.

Didn't CI leased the 767, cause CI wasn't sure whether to order 767 or A300.

I think they lease both aircraft first, then decided that they're going to "order" A300.

They "order" it because at that time, Taiwanese Government wants to open "the door of trading" with Europe, so I guess that's why they order more A300 than expected. So does MD11.

However, the design of 767's deck is much superior than A-300B4.
I remember that B4 needs the sitting of flight engineer.

Would the airlines fry the flight engineers when the company uses less old planes, eg: L-1011, classic 747, A300-B4?
