I was wondering how large the DL hub is at DFW. What routes do they fly? Do they have any international routes and what aicraft are used on their routes from there? How many flights a day are there and how does that compare with AA?

If I am not mistaken, I am very sure Delta(or one of it's Regionals) flies a few flights to Mexico from DFW.
In the early-mid 90's, Delta operated a few Trans-Atlantics from DFW. Unfortunately, they decided to lower the status of DFW and pretty much drop all long-hauls including their HNL flight which ended a little less than a year ago with the L1011 retirement.
American pretty much beats them in all categories.
As for flights, I think Delta has around 100-150 vs. AA's 700 or so flights.
Delta really withdrew DFW because AA outisized them as a hub carrier. AA has a wide range of long hauls that have done pretty well for them, unlike Delta, because American has more domestic feed.
Give me a break, I created this username when I was a kid...

American hardly had CLOSE to 700 flight out of DFW. Delta has 660 at Atlanta, which is the single largest hub in the world! AA had 530 flights from DFW before Sept. 11, but now that number has been greatly reduced. Before Sept. 11, Delta had 124 flights from DFW.

Currently, DFW is shrinking in terms of DL mainline service while the connection carriers are growing larger. The connection carrier flights will soon outnumber the mainline flights. Some of the mainline flights lost are the ones to COS, JAN, RNO, ELP, SHV, BTR, and TUS. There is a codeshare flight with Air France to CDG.

The codeshare with Air France on the nonstop to CDG is going bye-bye effective January 7th. I read it in the Dallas Morning News when I was home visiting my parents last week. The article is no longer online, but if you go to Air France's website and click on press releases, there's a press release on 11/16/2001 mentioning several changes and it states:
"From 7 January, direct flights to Dallas will be suspended. The connection from Paris will be made via Atlanta on Delta flights."
