TACA Peru, member of the Grupo TACA, with a main base at Lima, is negotiating a codeshare agreement with Air France for transport passenger between Peru to Europe. TACA Peru is negotiating a similar agreement with Lufthansa for serve the route Caracas and Frankfurt. Alos TACA Peru starts the talks with Alitalia to offer new destinations.
TACA Peru had its codeshare agreement with Avianca approved by local aviation authorities and will be allowed to fly between Lima and Bogotá.
And finally TACA Peru has signed a codeshare agreement with Varig for the Sao Paulo route.
TACA Peru serves Lima, Cuzco, Quito, Guayaquil, Caracas, México, La Paz, Santa Cruz, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo. And has a fleet of 5 A319-100, 2 A320-200 and 3 Boeing 737-200Advanced.

Probably these codeshare agreement is a good possibility for Sky Team alliance for add the Grupo Taca to the alliance. Remember that the Sky Team is seeking a Latin American partner, specially a South American.

No dates yet, but I think that in a very short time. The point of connection will be Caracas: the passenger arrive from Lima and then will continue to Europe vía Air France or Alitalia. TACA Peru has a daily service between Lima and Caracas.
