The new Air holland look will be almost completely unveiled. Have a first impression via http://www.webstudio.nl/liladesign/designillustrationsamples/view.nhtml?profile=designillustrationsamples&UID=10028.

Next week the complete new Air holland logo and aircraft livery design elements will be unveiled via this site.

Air holland expects to implement the new identity during the winter season 2001/2002.

I see a wavy Dutch tricolor on a field of Orange... a good start!

The tail fin design will be the most attractive element of the whole aircraft livery. The fuselage will be simple but gracefull.

The orange above the Dutch triple coloured flag symbolizes the orange banner. Only on official Royal anniversary days (of the Dutch Royal House of Orange) the orange banner is allowed to be used in combination with the Dutch flag. The call sign of Air holland is "Orange". The ancient dutch republic flag was orange-white-blue (remember the old South African flag). Orange is the national colour of Holland and is quite popular colour among the Dutch people.

Lucky enough no complete white fuselage...but don't expect too much. After more than 100 colourful design proposals the airline finally choosed for a modest design. Be continued.

First Aerflot, then Delta-flot, now......Amster-flot?

White whales are way over. Blue bottoms have maxed out. Could the wavy gravy look be the next livery cliche'?

Thanks Zain. Hopefully the situation in your country is stabilizing soon again.

EGFF: honestly speaking the airline is still making up its mind about the final fuselage design; I am authorized to unveil the two options from which "Air holland" will choose. Perhaps the Airliners.net forum members could give their votes.

Nice detail, on the top of the tail there is a flag, and it is not Dutch. It would appear to be Belgian! Could this be a hint to the future plans of Air Holland?????

Air Holland will add a third plane (752?) next year + in the summer of 2002 they will add 2 737-700s. And yes the fuselage is almost all white. There was an impression of the whole new paint scheme in a dutch magazine. not much changed except the tail.

Do you happen to know how the 767 plans are going? Or has that plan already been abandoned.
