Save Up to 85 Percent on Continental Airlines BusinessFirst Flights to Europe This Holiday Season

HOUSTON, November 29, 2001 -- Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) is offering unbeatable discounts on holiday travel to Europe, allowing customers who may not normally do so to experience the airline's award-winning BusinessFirst service.

Holiday travellers can save up to 85 percent off of the unrestricted fare in Continental's BusinessFirst cabin between December 15 and January 10. The special sale fares provide a spacious BusinessFirst seat for a coach fare.

OnePass members can pay even less by purchasing a K-class ticket and redeeming 20,000 OnePass miles to book a BusinessFirst seat. While seats are capacity controlled, those wishing to take advantage of this
offer will find wide availability in Continental's BusinessFirst cabin. Customers may purchase tickets through their travel agent or directly from Continental Airlines. Restrictions apply.

'With business travelers typically taking a break during the holiday period, we have the ability to offer our BusinessFirst seat inventory at these special prices for vacation travel,' said a Continental spokesperson. 'Our BusinessFirst cabin has won numerous awards through the years, including best trans-Atlantic service. There is no better way to fly than to enjoy the luxury and comfort of BusinessFirst.

'Programme:Applies to travel between the 50 United States and Europe. Does not apply to travel originating in Great Britain or for travel to or from Tel Aviv. Buy a roundtrip ZHOLNRE fare. OnePass members buy any published K fare, applicable for travel from Dec. 15, 2001, to January 10, 2002, plus 20,000 OnePass miles, to book a BusinessFirst seat. Fares are available for sale on November 28, 2001. Tickets may be purchased from travel agents or from Continental Airlines. These Christmas Special fares represent a discount of up to 85 percent off normal BusinessFirst fares.Restrictions:A Saturday night stay and seven day advance purchase is required. Reservations must be ticketed within 72 hours of booking Z class on international segments and F class within the U.S. (If F class is not available within the U.S., book Y class.) Tickets are non-refundable and certain reservation changes may be made for $150. This program may not be used in conjunction with any other discount. Seats are subject to availability and may not be available on every day or every flight. One free stopover is allowed within the U.S., either outbound or inbound. No discounts are available for children. Waitlisting is not permitted. Blackout dates are December 21 and 22, 2001, and January 5, 2002. Travel must commence no earlier than December 15, 2001, and be completed no later than January 10, 2002. Tickets must be purchased no later than December 23, 2001. Fares do not include passenger facility charges of up to $18 or international taxes and fees of up to $106.
