Transbrasil Shuts Down Indefinitely!

The airlines ceased operations for an uncertain time tonight. TR was operating 5 aircrafts. This is really sad, but I have to admit, it was just a matter of time. Hope they can come back. I think this is the best time for GOL to buy Transbrasil and enhance their market in Brazil.

TransBrasil canceled all the flights due to gas problem ....

Varig, TAM, Gol and Vasp will handle the passagers ....

Transbrasil was once the preferred carrier in Brazil, at times appearing to replace VASP as the 2nd strongest airline. Does the Fontana family still own this airline??
