They also announce year round Toronto-Victoria, hourly Calgary-Toronto, widebody Vancouver-Montreal, as well as increased Winnipeg-Ottawa and Winnipeg-Montreal. There were quite a few others as well. I think these routes will allow AC to give up those slots at Toronto Pearson. Most of these routes go around YYZ, giving direct flights, but also reducing the connecting stops at YYZ. It makes passengers happy, too, to go non-stop on more routes.

Besides the new routes I know of, and the one that AC183 just informed me of, I don't know if there will be any more trans-border flights going in and out of the Winnipeg. I will e-mail my friend and ask him if he knows anything on new routes.

I was reading the Winnipeg Free Press a few months ago and this was when AC launced the DEN flight. The DEN flight is going to be added to possibly in 2000. They said that if more people are flying it they will add another BAE-146 to the route. By 2005 they said they would be haveing 5 daily flights to DEN.
