Howdy all,

I just heard from informed sources that Sun Country Airlines is going to file for Bankruptcy this Friday.

They have parked all B727's and have laid off massive amounts of personnel. They are down to just a handful of B737-800's and the new -700 that was recently delivered has been locked up and they are not flying it.

Its a sad day here in MSP....

It is about time. Who would invest in a debt ridden airline without some protection. Today the MKE funjet flying just went south, to INDY. Too bad the family has turned on them.

Knew it!
Only got the timing wrong- I gave them another 3 months to go bust.

Just because an airline files for bankruptcy does not mean they are going out of business.
