Finnair has planned to establish a subsidiary in Estonia. The company will be called Aero - the original name under which Finnair started operating in 1924 when it began flights to Estonia.
The new airline will operate Atr72s and will mainly concentrate on the Baltic region.

And in any case, what sort of a route network is/was it going to have? I can only speak for Estonia/Tallinn, but between Estonian Air, Finnair, SAS, Rheintalflug, LOT, etc. etc. it's pretty well connected to the major centres. Add in the other existing regional airlines, and what's left? Even without 11.9, I think it would be tough to make a go of it, unless you manage to take over from some of the other smaller players...
