I just returned from the airport fater having my tickets changed due to a flight cancellation. After arguing with the man to keep my 777, I gave up with the Delta ticket agent, and took what she had to give me. It turns out my 777 flight was changed to a 767-300. How are these aircrafts? Nice loud, powerful takeoffs? Comfortable seats? I'm in seat 11G.
My return flight is not a 767-400 now, but a MD-11! How are these planes? Again, nice loud, powerful takeoffs? Comfortable?
Thanks, and looking foward to your comments.

You never know with Delta, lots of times 767s are changed with 777s or MD-11s on a moments notice, and vice versa. It sounds like you are probably in Business Elite, so the seats on the 767 will be a little narrower, but on the MD-11 and 777 they are a little wider.

Delta's 767-300 fleet is basically no different from those of the other major US airlines that operate this plane (United, American) except that they are all two class only (Biz Elite and Coach or First and Coach) depending on the route flown. All international flights on the 763's are Biz Elite configuration and fly to Europe and South America.

Delta's 767's aren't exceptionally appointed. They provide basic transport, no more. There are no PTV's in the main cabin, few amenities in flight other than the meal and mainscreen film and sky map.

Delta's your average airline, no more. Biz Elite is a very good product, among the best of the US carriers and right up there with Business First and well ahead of AA and UA in comfort.

The 763's are a nice a/c. Like noted before, nothing spactaular, but MUCH better in my opinion than the 777 in coach. Are you in 11G Biz Elite, or 11G coach? If you were booked in coach, you're bettor off on a 763. (My opinion) the 2-5-2 config. on the 777's now is horrible. Once we have our fleet 3-3-3 it will be nicer. When it comes down to it, unless you where changed to a 727 (lol) there's really not THAT huge of a difference.

Fatter? How many of those $5.00 airport hot dogs did you eat? Maybe it's because your breath stank with Saurkraut and Mustard that you had an arguement with the ticket agent.

Consider salads and a breath mint the next time you interact with airport employees.

I came back from Boston in BizElite on a 737-300ER last monday, and the service was excellent, and seats really comfortable.

Delta's Biz Elite is an excellent product. Economy is just like any other airline economy...

The MD11 is a better aircraft, more comfortable, and lots of room. I prefer it to the 777.

As for PTV... I never watched it going to or from Boston. Most people dont.

The world is really getting smaller these days

Unfortunatly, I'm in seat 11G coach. Maybe business elite, but I don't think so. Thanks for all of your help. My flight plan is

ATL-RSW 767-300

P.S.- I'll try to schmooze my way up into coach. Maybe my innocent 15 year old smile will help.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Do you know whether your flight is on a regular 767-300 or an er? If you are on an ER, you will be in BizElite.. but if its a regular 767-300, your in coach.
