Jeff, sounds interesting, but my question is where would we hang out at now that all concourses are sterile? Isn't there some restaraunt by the airport that has good views (maybe good beer as well) too?
I'll be up in Phoenix for the holidays for a week or so... I would do anything to get out of the house too.

I don't think T4 parking garage is off limits, you just get your car searched when you enter the garage. The restaurant you are refering to is the Left Seat Restaurant, which is on Air Lane, just north of the north runway. I believe it has a rather limited view of the airport. Nevertheless, I'd still be interested.

Well I havent gone out to PHX much lately... but i will be doing so often during the holidays... I am unsure of the situation on the parking garages but I know a couple other great area's that i shall attempt next week. The left seat restaurant is great during summer months but not now! it faces south right into the sun! so that is not an option really unless you just want to watch!
