Which airlines do you think should upgrade their aircraft served on certain routes?

I think AM should at least use 1 767 to LAX due to the high Latino rate in LA and nearby sities.

Out of Pit, I think American should upgrade on their ORD-PIT route. Currently the fly all ERJ's, but I think they should upgrade to at least a F100 if not MD80, because its always a full flight.

all these upgrades probably wont happen for a while if at all, but i would like to see:
lufthansa 744 fra-phl (now 343)
some delta 763 atl-phl
united 757s lax-phl (now 320s)
air france 343 cdg-phl (now 763)
american 757s dfw-phl
i could probably list dozens, but that is enough

I am not sure how the loads are on USAirways Express flights ISP-PHL, but it would sure be nice to see at least a couple of the frequencies upgraded to a 737. Also, being an ISP fan, I would also like to see AA Eagle upgrade to a Regional Jet on their ISP-BOS routes. I am guessing the second scenario is more likely than the first.

I think Piedmont should put A380s on their HOU-IAH route.

A380 you kidding? A340-600 would be much better for that long of a route.

life wasn't worth the balance, or the crumpled paper it was written on

I would love to see a BA 744 LGW-DFW or LH 742 FRA-DFW(there used to be 742). The problem at DFW is that the gates at terminal B handling widebodies aren't spread out enough to handle 747s simultaneously.

British Airways, Lufthansa, and JAL(when they flew, should restart spring 2002) all come in at once and that area is really cluttered both on the outside tarmac, and the terminal.

I dont think LH needs a 747 on a FRA-PHL route........
A340-300 i think fits perfectly in there.

Oh oh oh...

I've got a novel idea!

How about we let the airlines who have people who have much experience routing aircraft handle it? Or does the teenage spotting population know more about how to run an airline than those who do it? Just because you think it would be "really cool" to run a larger plane on a route doesn't mean it would be economical nor does it mean the airline has an aircraft free to do such equipment swaps. Just because you may perceive a flight to be full doesn't mean it always is.... so what if while spotting twice a week or whatever you see a flight to be full... it may not be the next week or even the next day.

THESE ARE JUST OPINIONS!!!!! ITS NOT LIKE THAY ARE ACTUALLY GOING TO DO IT.

AND I NEVER SAID IT WOULD BE "REALLY COOL" TO RUN A BIGGER AIRCRAFT ON THIS ROUTE. IF YOU COME TO LAX ANYTIME SOON YOU"LL SEE WHAT I MEAN SINCE THERE IS A LOT OF LATINOS HERE TRAVELING FORM LAX TO MANY PARTS OF MEXICO.

OTHERWISE SHUT UP!!!

Anyway.

First of all, where did I say anything at all about LAX and its huge latino population? I didn't. I was quite aware of the fact that there is a huge latino population in the Los Angeles area (including some of my relatives) but thanks for making that blatantly clear for me again so there is no confusion.

Second, did I say I was replying just to you? I don't think I was. Did I say that you ever said "really cool?" I don't think so. I could be rude back and suggest that you learn to read, but I won't.

Third, thanks for the rude response.

Fourth and finally, I can have opinions too. Opinions aren't just for 13 year olds who make all caps posts.  Smile

Have a very pleasant day and do reply to my posts again. I've quite enjoyed this.

i know, these are just my opinions. do u think i really believe lufthansa will fly 744 to phl anytime soon, NO. as a matter a fact i was surprised when i saw british airways flying 744 into phl, i was expecting to see the same old 777's for years. we all probably have opinions of what we would like to see at our local airports that will never happen. i could say i want to see a japan airlines 744 to phl, when i really know that probably wont happen for 5-10 years if not 20 or never

Northwest
DTW-LAX currently DC-10-40
this route is always 100% full and thus i belivev it demands a B742
