Just drove by the Hanger and I believe 2 ex-C3 320 were out side with SSV tales and titles. Anyone know when they are going into service, I think there was an Air 2000 A320 beside it. I hope to see more SSV up in the air, I really like the aircraft and service they offer.

Actually, it was an Airtours A320, recently arrived from Manchester. The tails on the old Skyservice USA aircraft just happened to be the same, because they too were Airtours aircraft dry leased for the US operation, which is no longer in service. Skyservice is dry-leasing four Airtours machines for the winter, in addition to the ex Canada 3000 aircraft they are acquiring. They hired 78 pilots 3 weeks ago to staff the additional work, all ex C3.

Things should start to get real busy this week with the official start to the winter flights program.
I believe the 20th is the day all the new aircraft will be required to start programs in the west as well as YYZ and Southern Ontario. Last I had heard was 1 A319, 16 A320's and 1 A330 for the winter season. They were also planning on B757's if the leases didn't come through on the ex-C3 birds, but Grant has seen it first hand at the SSV hangar so we probably won't see a 757 in SSV titles.
Looks like it is going to be a busy winter for SSV!
Cptng: The reg on that particular a/c; C-GTDO was applied before it left the UK. Has to do with Transport Canada's registration requirements etc.....and the operating company.
